The recent NOSHOK employee outing on Cleveland's Nautica Queen cruise dining ship was an all-out success. Employees enjoyed a buffet dinner and musical entertainment as they cruised out on Lake Erie, enjoying views of historic bridges and the breathtaking view of downtown Cleveland's ever-changing skyline. Clear skies and an amazing sunset topped off a great night for all!
In our ongoing effort to reduce our carbon footprint and integrate environmentally-friendly processes, NOSHOK's Facilities Manager Robert Manjura recently oversaw a full scale review of our waste usage and recycling program with the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District. After implementing their recommendations, we are proud to announce that we were able to significantly streamline our processes, resulting in a 50% reduction in need for trash pick-ups and a 40% improvement in recycling by total weight.
We'd like to thank the Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District for their assistance in this effort, and congratulate our Facilities Manager, Robert Manjura for the outstanding results we have seen so far!
